As a certified birth & postpartum doula, with my degree in early childhood development, and over a decade of professional experience in the field, it is clear that my lifelong studies and career have been dedicated to understanding emotional and social development in children 0-5.
Now, I'm putting my ever-growing expertise into action by supporting and empowering parents; sharing the knowledge they need to navigate parenthood from the very start. Offering support & providing the tools each family needs to embrace parenting as the rewarding journey its meant to be!
My Story
Working with children has been my calling for as long as I can remember. I’ve been supporting little ones’ growth and development since I was a kiddo myself! As I’ve grown (literally and figuratively) in this line of work, I’ve discovered the best way I can help children thrive is by empowering their parents. Your role as a parent is one of the biggest, most rewarding, and most challenging jobs out there - and it deserves all the support in the world.
My understanding of children and what makes them tick goes far beyond my early childhood degree and countless hours of unpacking developmental research. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of hands-on caring for more than 200 infants & children and working with well over 100 families in their homes. Not only have I mastered the art of opening any baby gate on the market, more importantly, I’ve experienced first-hand that no two families are the same. Every child’s needs are different, and navigating those wobbly early years requires a unique approache - and a whole lot of flexibility - to meet each individual where they are at, parents and children alike.
This is why I created RaisedWith - to give parents the tools, guidance, and encouragement they need to navigate and enjoy the incredible journey of raising happy and capable children. My work starts from the very beginning, supporting your birth, and can support you all the way through to your kiddos first day of kindergarten. Through personalized support, practical strategies, and a whole lot of heart, my goal is to help your family thrive in a way that feels authentic to you. Because when parents feel supported and equipped, children flourish - and that’s a win for everyone.
